Course Overview
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurological in origin and is a lifelong condition for which there is no known cure. There are however, strategies that can be implemented by the person with dyslexia and by teachers or employers that can significantly help and improve education and/or work experiences.
Course Description
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
- Enable others to better understand dyslexia and its effects, from childhood to adulthood;
- Help people gain insights into the difficulties faced by those who have the condition both within school, workplace and social settings;
- Facilitate the development of practical strategies to help those with dyslexia.
