How to get the most from Learningworks Information section

The Information section of Learningworks contains sources of information, resources, references and links to assist you in planning, implementing and evaluating your learning and business growth activities.
Content is grouped into seven areas as follows:

Quick Tips

These are short, concise information sheets aimed at helping you understand the basics of many key business activities. Whilst they may not provide all the answers you need they will help signpost sources of more in-depth knowledge.

Podcasts

These short videos demonstrate some of the key aspects of business growth and development. They can be viewed directly on you computer or downloaded to your portable digital media player (e.g. i-Pod). You can download individual podcasts, or subscribe to the whole series through i-Tunes.

Case Studies

Choose from a list of local businesses showing how they have used training and learning to enhance the business opportunities available to them.

Document Library

Select the most appropriate document or template to meet your needs and save it to you desktop. If there are any documents/templates you have used in your business which you feel may be useful for others, please send them to the Learningworks Admin Team.

Funding Sources

This is a simple list of possible funding sources to assist in your learning activities. This is not an exhaustive list of all the funding support available. You should check with some of our support organisations for further possible funding opportunities.

Support Organisations

This area contains details of a range of organisations whose aim is to help organisations strengthen, grow and develop. The links will take you to their websites.

Learning Centres

There are two distinct areas within this section. The first is the Learning Centre Zone which is for use by staff and associates of learning centres only. Registration is required for this part. To register simply email the Learningworks Admin Team.

The second area of this section is a geographic listing of all learning centres across the Highlands and Islands. Select the region you want to search in then use either the map or the listing to find your nearest learning centre.
